Honoring a Legacy of Access Through the Arts

The Victoria Bennett Scholarship (VBS) was established in 2018 when Ms. June’s sorority sister generously paid the tuition for a student to dance for free. What began as a heartfelt act of sisterhood and service has grown into a core pillar of June’s Academy of Ballet: arts access for all. Since then, the VBS has provided scholarships for deserving and underserved youth, removing financial barriers and ensuring that every child — no matter their background — has the opportunity to experience the joy, discipline, and confidence that ballet brings. At JAB, we believe in this truth: "Our babies will dance."

Who We Serve

The Victoria Bennett Scholarship supports young dancers ages 3–12 who are enrolled in either of our program experiences: 📍Mobile Enrichment Program (on-site at preschools/elementary schools) 🩰In-Studio Experience (Saturday classes at JAB)

2025 Tuition Overview

Scholarship recipients will have their tuition fully covered through community donations and partnerships. Families are only responsible for the recital fee, which fosters accountability, dedication, and shared investment in their dancer’s journey.

Recital Fee covers: costume, professional photoshoot + print, performance video clip, two adult tickets, and production support. Families of scholarship recipients are responsible for the $225 recital fee to ensure a shared commitment to their dancer’s development and participation. This partnership approach allows the program to serve more students while sustaining teacher pay, studio operations, and production costs.
